About Energiekontor
Energiekontor UK Ltd is part of the Energiekontor group of companies which was established in 1990 in Bremerhaven, Northern Germany, as a private and independent enterprise.
Energiekontor has built 73 wind farms across Europe comprising over 400 wind turbines with a total power of nearly 500MW or €700m investment volume. Energiekontor has also received permission to build the first offshore wind farm within 12 nautical miles of the north coast of Germany.
Energiekontor UK Ltd was founded in 1999 and has built two wind farms; Moel Maelogen in North Wales, and Forestmoor in Devon. Several projects are awaiting planning decisions and we have further projects throughout the UK at various stages of development.
Our offices are located in Knaresborough near Harrogate in North Yorkshire.
